We hope to provide a fashion emergency hotline...no not really...but at least a place where people can come and be inspired. ABOUT THE NAME:
Our Website name..PLASTIK FASHION OVERKILL came from a rather witty comment from a peer, Plastik is a slangy way of spelling plastic. PLASTIC FASHION is ever-changing,colorful,multi-dimensional fashion.
Overkill is a slang expression to describe too much of something. An overkill of too much plastic fashion would incinuate too much color, too many layers,too many accesories,too much to look at. I feel it sums up my idea of what great fashion is. No, i'm not talking about cyber,decora,or candy raver..i'm talking about label-less,flaw-less,more is more, less is less fashion. The kind that almost moves me to tears. i.e. Zac Posen,Betsey Johnson,Heatherette.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We are currently looking for photos of Street Fashion in your neck of the woods! Please submit cell phone pics,collages,newspaper articles and local fashion sections to us via scanning/e-mail or by mail if you have no other way of doing so.
 
Also, we are starting a Plastik Fashion Overkill issue of FRUiTS magazine and we are looking for gyaru nationwide and worldwide to send photos for a gyaru mail zine to be delivered once a month with participation we think we can make this possible.
FRUiTS ZINE: Send full length photos in the Shoichi Aoki style with your name,age,point of fashion,and current obsession.
Also, we are looking for individuals to do articles on fashion. How you got interested in a particular sub-culture,where you hang out,how much you spend on hair,make,and clothing and how this has effected you financially. Case pieces have no due date and will be accepted at any time.
